Technical information
- It is possible to use a towbar by detaching the diffuser (using the two wing nuts) from the main spoiler.
Roof spoiler

hi i am looking for the front spoiler for my golf gt tdi as my one was broken due to a pot hole but cant find a price or where to buy it?

I have bought the OEM Votex front spoiler (part# 1KM 071 609 9AX) for my Golf GTI, but it did not come with the necessary screws.
Would you happen to know what the part numbers for the screws are to fit the votex lip? I think they are t20 torx screw?

I am hoping you can help me. i have a VW Golf 2001 model car and the plastic lip has fallen off the front of my car (not the first time this has happened but normally manage to find it but on this occasion i didn’t). Do you know where i can get a replacement one from?

A wrecker may be an option but generally the dealer is pretty cheap for these items, for example the Mark V GTI front lip is only around $100.

Reversed gently into gutter extending upwards (ok it wasn’t smooth at the top ridge) but it shredded into my Votex spoiler with ease. Having to now purchase a replacement rather than just a respray! Thanks for this page for providing part numbers!
