From your maths it seems that 2 x 270ohm 1 Watt resistors equals 3 Watts.

For me the 270hm didn’t work. A 270ohm and 330ohm does for me only after turning the headlights off, then on, cancelling the bulb out light and the leds now work.

That said two 330ohm ones don’t work at all.

So, is there a way to calculate what resistors I need exactly?
