Decimal to Hex and Hex to Decimal conversion is used in a number of areas in Vagcom/VCDS and the main one is the Auto Rain Closing Windows and Sunroof feature.
Step 1. Start by opening up the calculator on your computer, switch to scientific mode and enter the number to be converted, in this example it’s (00)208933 and press Hex.
Step 2. Add 4 to the first number (this is for the rain sensor), in this example 33025 becomes 73025.
Step 3. Click on Decimal to convert the value back to Decimel.
Step 4. The final value (00)471077 is entered back into Vagcom/VCDS.
